Sustainability and Juneau Energy  

As the price of oil continues to rise, residents of Juneau and Southeast Alaska are becoming more interested in ways to make our lives and our communities more sustainable. To help guide those efforts, the University of Alaska Southeast is holding a forum on sustainability.

The forum includes a variety of speakers, a slide show presentation, a film series, and roundtable discussions on Juneau energy solutions and UAS campus sustainability.  The forum will give us some ways to respond to issues of dwindling resources and create an opportunity for people in the community to share ideas.
