Keete, Mabel and Kassa Inlets

Located southeast of the community of Hydaburg and adjacent to the South Prince of Wales Wilderness, these watersheds contain excellent fisheries habitat, tremendous scenic beauty, and provide important habitat for black bear, Sitka black-tail deer, wolves, marten, river otters, trumpeter swans, and marine mammals.  Keete, Mabel and Kassa Inlets have rich cultural and historical values for the Haida Nation.  The inlets support a major commercial fishery and are valuable for subsistence and remote recreation activities.
