Please call, write or email Governor Palin to thank her for making the responsible decision to not start building the Juneau Road to Nowhere last summer.  Encourage her to:

1. Act on her fiscally responsible instincts,
2. Remember her responsibility to Alaskans to present the true (both best and worst case) cost estimates of a project before allowing it to move forward, and
3. Consider how an over-budget, protracted and ill-advised mega-project like extending the Juneau dead end will tarnish her legacy as a clear-sighted leader.

Please kindly ask Governor Palin to cancel this unnecessary, expensive and dangerous project.
