Dr. DellaSala: “Can the Tongass Save Alaska from Climate Chaos?"

Southeast Alaska Conservation Council (SEACC) is proud to host Dr. Dominick DellaSala for a discussion of the importance of carbon storage in the Tongass National Forest, focusing on how the Tongass can be managed to mitigate climate change while quickly transitioning to a young-growth industry.

Come join us in discussion and illumination of a topic essential to the health of Southeast Alaska, in both forest and finance.

We will also be collecting comments for the upcoming Alaska Specific Roadless Rule DEIS, so it's a great opportunity to learn about the Tongass and lend your voice in protecting it.
