Alaska is on the front lines of climate change, warming twice as fast as anywhere else in the nation. But with a new presidential administration at the helm and action from supporters like you, we can change the course of the planet’s future and avert the worst of climate change.

Join the Climate Conversation, a new monthly webinar series that will keep you up-to-date and engaged on climate issues that matter most to Alaskans.

Hosted by SEACC Climate Organizer Matt Jackson, this series discusses the latest climate change developments in President Joe Biden’s administration and in Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s office. And you’ll learn about ways to take action that make a difference on climate.

The series premiered Jan. 28, 2021, with an episode on Biden’s ambitious “30 by 30” plan to permanently protect 30% of U.S. lands and waters by 2030, featuring guest experts Tyson Fick, self described salmon evangelist and longtime fisherman, and Shawaan Jackson-Gamble of Kake. The second episode on Feb. 10 discussed Biden’s climate cabinet, and the third episode on March 24 focused on Biden’s Build Back Better plan and what it means for Alaska.
