Explore Share Inspire
Welcome to Tongass Imprints, your way to make your mark on conservation in Southeast Alaska! When you share your photos with SEACC they will be added to our online map (below) and used when we talk to policymakers and advocate for protecting the Tongass and Inside Passage (with credit given to you). Your photos should be of the places that inspire you in Southeast, photos that celebrate the clean waters of the Inside Passage and rich life of the Tongass National Forest.
1. Download the free Water Reporter app on your phone or tablet or go to www.waterreporter.org.
2. Create an account and join the SEACC group.
3. Take photos and start sharing! (be sure to 'share to' SEACC's group when you post!)
From thick stands of old growth trees and pristine rivers teeming with salmon to whales breaching and eagles soring, we have a lot to inspire us here in Southeast. Photos should be of these landscapes and things that inspire you throughout Southeast, and that you want to see protected.
Don't miss the Summer Scavenger Hunt!
In addition to sharing photos through Tongass Imprints, join in the Summer Scavenger Hunt for a chance to win some sweet photo gear prizes from Peak Design! There are two categories that you can enter into, Southeast Places and Southeast Sightings. To enter simply share photos of 5 (or more) of the things/places with SEACC's group on the Water Reporter app. Once you have completed all 5 photos in a category, email your list to Bryn Fluharty at email@example.com to be entered to win in that category.
You can enter to win in both categories so start sharing, and winning! Submissions must be received by 11:59 AKDT on August 31st to be eligible to win. You must have the rights to any of the photos that you share.
